Candy Corn Sugar Scrub with Imperial Sugar

I met the wonderful people at Imperial Sugar a few weeks ago at the Blog Elevated Conference.  These people have a GREAT website!  I’m kinda mad I just now found it 🙂

They have so many great holiday recipes, gift recipes (like this one I’m sharing), activities to do with your kids, and even lots of fun printables!

I mixed up the ingredients from the Imperial Sugar Candy Corn Scrub recipe and then put the scrub in these little glass containers for my son’s two bible class teachers.  He even helped and that’s what made this project so much fun for us.  He did get some in his mouth too but everything is edible so this is a great project for little ones.

Make sure that you clean up the top of the jar before you add the last “white” layer so the colors don’t mix.

Fill the jar to the top and you are done.  I added some Halloween paper to the top of one jar and used some washi tape to attach a tag to the other jar.  You don’t want to go too crazy with the jar decorations because they will get wet after being used and the colored sugar is the star anyways!

If you want to find another sugar scrub recipe PLEASE check out their site for a scrub for every holiday.  I also love their little pre-made gift tags for their scrubs that you just print and use.
