When the Reverend Martin Luther King decided to fi When the Reverend Martin Luther King decided to fiercely battle racism, he knew there would be opposition. He knew the risks. He knew that he could die for his activism.

His beliefs weren’t that complicated. That racism was sin and therefore not acceptable. He knew the risks for this and he still continued on. He wasn’t ashamed of the gospel of Christ and he never stopped leading people even in the face of hate and fear.

He is one of the most amazing examples in world history of standing for what’s right and living out ““For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

I’ve barely had the mental capacity over the last few weeks to listen to the sadness of what is going on in Washington with our current family trauma but I do know that Christians need to look to fellow Christians like MLK and call out racism EVERY single time we hear it and not allow it ever again.
