I have had such a great time hearing from a few of my readers this week about their lives and their summer adventures. Skydiving and lots of water fun tell me ya’ll are a fun group! 🙂
The next book I’m giving away this week is “I Love You Even When” by Donna Keith. It’s about all the times that you are going to have to discipline your children but how you love them unconditionally. It shows a sweet little bear family and even though this bothers my wildlife biologist brother (these bears would NEVER be siblings) it has a great message about a parent’s love. It’s good for toddlers and young elementary age kids.
Here’s a peek inside:
Thank you for the kind words about my book. I had so much fun writing this story which happens to be a sequel to my first book I Love You All the Same. And the reason the bear cubs are differentl types of bears is because my oldest daughter’s interracial family inspired the story. They adopted twice and then she got pregnant. We have five grandchildren and all of them are the greatest blessings. God bless you and your family! Donna Keith
Hey Donna! I love the reason you used the different bears! We read this book a lot after we have had a hard day and it always makes everyone feel much better!
Made mud pies and fed to younger sister.
3 days before moving out of our rental, which we had been in for 3 years with no damage, my daughter drew ALL OVER the kitchen floor with a sharpie! I tried 10 different things to get it off and none worked since the linoleum was so old!
Hey Alona! Oh that’s bad! Sharpie doesn’t come out of anything…which is why I love it and hate it at the same time 🙂
This is just so perfect. I have a new and first grandbaby, a girl and I would love to be able to read this to her!
Hey Terry! It’s really great for little ones and it’s never too soon to start building them a great little library of spiritual books. 🙂
Crackers in the fish tank.
Haha yeah that’s not good 🙂
My son got his hands on his toy scissors and managed to rip the side of his pillow and let all the feathers out. He found is so entertaining that he did it to our pillows as well.
Oh man! I bet that was fun to clean up 🙂
What an adorable looking book! My son loves stories about bears. I was out on the front porch hanging a decoration on the door and my son locked me out! He just stood there while I asked him to unlock it (I don’t think he realized what he’d done or how to unlock it). I went to the back door and thankfully he knew how to unlock that one and let me in, phew!
That could have been bad so I’m glad he let you in! My son locked both of us out when we moved here and I didn’t have my phone so we got to walk around a new neighborhood asking people if we could borrow their phones 🙂
Yeah it was raining and I didn’t have shoes on. Lol, that was a good way to meet your neighbors! 😉
The funniest thing my 4 year old niece did was take my make up and nail polish and “dolls” herself up. Make up was everywhere, in her hair and lipstick on her teeth. The nail polish was all over her chubby toes, you would have thought she put it on during an earthquake!
Hey Lici! Oh my! I wanna see pictures of that 🙂
My daughter also recently colored on the rental car seat with black marker and put quarters in the cd player!
Oh that’s bad…why do kids think they need to shove coins into every slot??
I was at work and my husband was home with the little one attempting to paint the garage walls. The little one decided to take a brush while daddy wasn’t watching and run all over the driveway splashing the cars with paint. Magic eraser didn’t help in this instance 🙂
Ok I think you might win with the worst story!! Congrats 🙂
Yeah, we had to laugh in order to not cry!
It was a indeed difficult. I had friends laughing while we tried not to laugh.
He was helping daddy water the grass and plants and turned the hose on daddy
Hey Jessica! Yeah my son did that to his Grandpa the other day but we loved it 🙂
