Let’s go back to the 90’s…when my family made matching patriotic t-shirts for the summer. Here’s the proof…me and my two aunts on our June birthdays! Love it! 🙂
I want to carry on the DIY patriotic shirts with my kids and nephews because it’s so fun! Here is a shirt I made for my nephew by ironing freezer paper stars on a navy shirt, filling a water gun with bleach, and shooting the shirt. Super easy!
I was born on Flag Day so I have always been a very patriotic kid and I LOVE the old Red, White, and Blue. I gathered my favorite USA flag inspired crafts, recipes, and party ideas to make your summer star spangled fun! Check the end of this post for a little giveaway from Tommy Nelson!

Hey girl no problem! It was super cute and we love to read it and count the flags on each page. Let me know if you ever need help promoting anything else! 🙂
Oh I LOVE all of this 4th of July inspiration! I’m so looking forward to being back in the States this summer to get to really celebrate again. Thanks for helping get my creative juices flowing!
hanging out with friends and family!
I was doing yard work this holiday weekend and shopping and relaxing.
We had family visit us the entire weekend from Georgia. We live in MI. It was fun to see my little one play with his cousins.
For our memorial day, my husband has to work until dinner time, so my little boy and i are looking at old photos of our veteran rellies and going through the two gr gr gr gr grandfathers Civil War records! Its fun to read the records, as it makes the men so real! My adult kids might stop by for some BBQ goodies. Just low key. I think next year ill go all out and decorate, do tye die shirts with the grand-kids and my youngest and make themed treats! You have so many great ideas!
