One of the areas that I am always trying to improve on is my time reading my Bible and memorizing scripture. I was recently inspired by the movie War Room to really try to commit scripture to memory and these two books really help with that goal! The Joshua Code and I Can Learn the Bible
are the adult/kid versions of the same book.
Each week of the year, you are given a scripture to memorize and a devotional that goes with that scripture. I have already started it myself and it makes memorizing one scripture a week easy. The winner will receive both books so they can learn scripture along with their kids! I challenge you to make this a priority with me this year! 🙂
Romans 8: 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.
1 John 5:4
For me it would have to be Luke 6:31 – Do To Others as you have them to do you. I try to live by this especially in difficult times. It’s brought both tears and smiles in my life. It’s pushed me forward to do better to all.
