Last fall, Liz contacted me to design a t-shirt to raise money and awareness for her daughter’s cancer diagnosis. I immediately fell in love with this El Paso family that I had never met. Fast forward one year and momma Liz and Lydia are the recipients of my very first PRETTY TOUGH jacket.
If you are new to the PRETTY TOUGH jacket, start here.
Here is Lydia’s story from her mom:
This is Lydia.
She’s a sweet & spunky, Barbie-loving, unicorn-obsessed, twirly-dress-wearing almost 7-year old little girl. This last October [2019], she was diagnosed with a malignant, stage IV brain tumor. And despite her grim prognosis, she’s retained her spark and radiates a joy, that can only be from the Holy Spirit, to everyone she encounters.
Lydia, along with her younger brother Silas and mom & dad, are on a journey to seek joy wherever it can be found . . . in spite of the big C-word. Although messy and painful at times, this journey of trusting God’s perfect plan can be followed along on my blog HERE.

We took these photos a couple of weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. It was a rainy day in El Paso (which NEVER happens) and I prayed to God ALL day long that he would give us the chance to get these pictures taken and HE allowed it. So thankful!
Enjoy the photos and say a prayer for Lydia for complete healing while you look at this post.
